Composite bearing materials

Aug 29, 2025 Leave a message

This innovative composite engineering material is crafted from high-performance synthetic fibers and thermosetting resins. Each grade is available with integrated solid lubricants-such as graphite, PTFE, or molybdenum disulfide-uniformly distributed within the matrix. As the surface wears, these lubricants are continuously released, ensuring lasting performance and reduced maintenance.

Ideal for design engineers, this composite material serves as a superior alternative to traditional options in applications like bushings, bearings, and wear pads. At just one-sixth the weight of steel, it is exceptionally lightweight, easy to machine, and maintains outstanding dimensional stability-even in damp environments. Custom properties, including fire resistance and acid compatibility, can also be tailored through adjustments in resin or fabric reinforcement.

Kintowe composite bearing materials are available in different formats:

  1. guide rings & wear rings
  2.  bushings ane bearings
  3. spherical bearings
  4. rudder bearings, stern tube bearings(approved by DNV and CCS)
  5. slide sheets
  6. washers
  7. wear pads
  8. sheets and tubes
  9. customize parts
